Support for Multiple Identity Providers (IdPs) in UAA

Issue/Introduction

Customers may ask whether multiple Identity Providers (IdPs) can be added into UAA, and whether multiple providers of the same type (e.g., multiple LDAP systems) are allowed.

Resolution

Multiple IdPs are supported by UAA, even if the Tile UI limits configuration to a single provider.

Customers can configure multiple IdPs of other types (e.g., multiple SAML providers), but only a single LDAP configuration is supported.

Examples:

• Supported: 1 LDAP + 1 SAML

• Supported: 1 LDAP + 2 SAML

• Not Supported: 2 LDAP
