Issue/Introduction

This document explains the retention policy for the latest snapshot in a VLCR environment.

Resolution

The documentation states that all snapshots past their expiration date are deleted, except for the latest snapshot. 

• Snapshot Retention
  
  All snapshots that are past the time of expiration are deleted, except the last snapshot.
  This final snapshot is retained to make sure that recovery is still possible.
  If the schedule is activated again, an incremental sync of the VMs begins.

The latest snapshot is not deleted and is retained indefinitely even if schedule is deactivated. 

It is then deleted when the schedule is activated and the next snapshot becomes available.
