Issue/Introduction

VMware Tools versions installed and running on vSphere VMs are not being reported correctly in the summary page for those VMs in Aria Operations.

The Summary|Guest Operating System|Tools Version metric for those same VMs may show the correct value.

More generally, incorrect information in the summary page of objects, their metric values, or other information is being reported incorrectly or differently than the actual values seen at the vSphere Client UI (vCenter Server).

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

Issues with the analytics service crashing can be seen on one or more nodes.  This particular issue with analytics is caused by a storage out of space issue for the storage/db disks on both the primary and data nodes.
