Issue/Introduction

Errors running AutoSys commands results in library errors :

• ./chk_auto_up: error while loading shared libraries: libasapi_resolv.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

• ./safex: error while loading shared libraries: libZThread-2.3.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

 

Environment

Workload Automation AE (AutoSys 12.x, 24.x) on Linux

Resolution

The errors are typically a result of the environment variables not being set properly for the product. Please make sure to source the appropriate environment file for your shell to set the needed variables and values before running any autosys commands.
