Issue/Introduction

When attempting to view a report in PDF using Webviewer, the following error occurs:

CAHVS1361E HFS input file allocate failed, RC=4, Error/Info Code=970C0000

CAHVX2YY  HFSOPEN                                          

CAHVS1362E HFS input file open failed                      


and in the EREP report, the following message appears: IGD17504I ATTEMPT TO CHANGE ATTRIBUTES OF A UNIX FILE FAILED, RETURN CODE IS (0000008B) REASON CODE IS (EF076043)

Cause

When Java transformers and View are configured in full or partially for both being managed by Spool and standalone mode, permission errors will occur as the file is attempted to be processed twice.

Resolution

Ensure that the user signed into webviewer has the permissions to place a file into the ~/input directory for the Java transformers.

When Java transformers are managed by Spool, all configuration settings for standalone support must be commented out in both Java transformer's HLQ.CE0CPARM(CAIQENVA) parameter file, and the View HLQ.CVDEOPTN(CAHVX2YP)

in CAIQENVA:

Ensure QUEUESCAN and QUEUE is commented out.

In CAHVX2YP:

Ensure:
X2YY_QUEUE, and X2YY_PROC are commented out
