Issue/Introduction

When trying to replace the certificate from VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager(VRLCM) to update the VMware Identity Manager (vIDM) certificate, the process consistently fails with below error specifically at Stage 5 – "Remediate VMware Identity Manager node(s)", with the subsequent step "Perform PCP Recovery" being the point of error.

Environment

VMware Identity Manager 3.3.x

Cause

There is an error on vIDM dashboard as below:

Analytics connection: Connection test failed.

Resolution

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

1. Restart the RabbitMQ service as per KB: RabbitMQ service not starting and showing red in vIDM dashboard
2. Follow the KB to Remediate cluster health
