Issue/Introduction

The following error message is logged during the Risk Fabric cube processing step of the nightly RiskFabric Processing job:

OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: there is insufficient memory available in the buffer pool., 42000.

Resolution

Ensure the memory allocated to the servers hosting SQL Server and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) meet the minimum system requirements specified in the Production and Development Sizing Recommendations for Symantec ICA section of the Symantec ICA Administrator Guide and configure both the SQL Server and SSAS server memory and connection settings per the recommendations published in the knowledgebase (KB) article ICA Installation Guide.
