In order to resolve the issue, remediate each hosts from the cluster perspective.
Remediation Steps
- Select the Object: Open the vSphere Client and navigate to the vLCM Cluster or specific Host.
- Check Compliance: Go to the Updates tab and click Check Compliance to identify "Out of Compliance" hosts.
- Run Pre-check: Click Pre-remediation Check to ensure there are no blockers (e.g., disconnected hosts or incompatible hardware).
Initiate Remediation:
- For a Cluster: Click Remediate All to update all hosts sequentially.
- For a Single Host: In the "Out of Compliance" list, select the host, click Actions, and select Remediate.
- Confirm Settings: Accept the EULA and review remediation settings, such as Quick Boot or VM migration preferences.
- Monitor Progress: vLCM will automatically place the host in Maintenance Mode, apply updates, reboot if necessary, and exit Maintenance Mode once compliant.
