Issue/Introduction

  • During VCF Management Domain deployment the wrong TEP VLAN was set for ESXi host uplinks
  • The VLAN used for the ESXi host TEP interfaces needs to be changed

Environment

VMware NSX

VMware SDDC Manager

Resolution

SDDC Manager does not store the VLAN configuration for TEP connections.  No changes need to be made within SDDC Manager.

To change the VLAN ID used on a Host Uplink Profile, navigate to System > Fabric > Profiles > Uplink Profiles and click the 3 dots to the right of the Uplink Profile and select Edit.  After changing the Transport VLAN, click Save.  The VLAN change will occur once the Uplink Profile is saved.
