Wrong VLAN for Host TEP Interfaces Set During VCF Deployment

Issue/Introduction

• During VCF Management Domain deployment the wrong TEP VLAN was set for ESXi host uplinks
• The VLAN used for the ESXi host TEP interfaces needs to be changed

Environment

VMware NSX

VMware SDDC Manager

Resolution

• SDDC Manager does not store the VLAN configuration for TEP connections.  No changes need to be made within SDDC Manager.
• To change the VLAN ID used on a Host Uplink Profile, navigate to System > Fabric > Profiles > Uplink Profiles and click the 3 dots to the right of the Uplink Profile and select Edit.  After changing the Transport VLAN, click Save.  The VLAN change will occur once the Uplink Profile is saved.
