Upgrade to VCF9 Automation got stuck at Stage 10 "Update admin passowrd"

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• The upgrade remains in a "Running" or "In Progress" state for multiple hours.
• No explicit error message or timeout is displayed in the UI.
• The VCFA appliances are fully deployed and all services/pods are in running/completed state.

Environment

VCF Automation 9.0.x

Cause

This issue is caused by a communication failure between the Fleet Manager and the VMware Aria Automation (VCFA) nodes.

Resolution

Validate that there is no communication issues between the VCFA nodes and Fleet Manager.

Example curl command:

• Log in to the VCFA appliance.
• Run below command from each node to validate communication with Fleet Manager:
