Attempt to migrate vmkernel across vSwitches using "Migrate VMkernel Adapter" option shows no available VMKs

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to migrate a vmkernel across vSwitches using the "Migrate VMkernel Adapter" option from the Host =>  Networking/Virtual Switches => '...' menu, shows no available VMKs in the pop up wizard, or does not show the desired vmkernel adapter.

 

Empty or incomplete list shown:

Cause

The "Migrate VMkernel Adapter" (from the vSS) or the "Migrate Networking" (from the vDS) options from the '...' menu need to be chosen from the desired destination vSwitch.

Resolution

Choose the destination vSwitch to show the list of available vmkernel adapters to migrate.
