Issue/Introduction

ESXi host might fail with a purple diagnostics screen due to a race condition during the collection of CPU usage statistics.

While gathering CPU usage statistics, the VMkernel might encounter a race condition that results in a purple diagnostics screen with #PF Exception 14
error.

In the stack trace, you see an error related to "CpuMetricsLoadHistorySnapshotStats".
