Issue/Introduction

The below warning message is reported in the Jarvis lean indexer pod log
 
WARN  INVALID JSON - Not an array or contains multiple elements

Environment

  • DX O2
  • Spectrum integration (Spectrum Data Publisher, SPUB)

Cause

SPUB is still using the old dx oi /ingestion restAPI that support multiple header and body in a single request, this kind of legacy payload is not longer supported by /v2/ingestion endpoint hence the warning, however lean-indexer dxo2 service is still able to process and publish alarms to elasticsearch alarms_all index(which is used for Alarms OI page display) so no data is lost.
 
 

Resolution

  • None.
  • You can safely ignore the warning messages, unfortunately this message cannot be disabled
  • Enhancement # "US1081373: Handling single header and body format payload while ingesting alarms to OI " has been created to improve SPUB code in next release and resolve this logging issue. For an update contact Broadcom Support
