Robot 23.4.5 on windows 2025 detects windows 2012 on controller GUI/ log and OC inventory.

Issue/Introduction

When you install robot 23.4.5 on Windows Server 2025 the controller detects Windows server 2012 instead. 

This is visible in the controller GUI and OC inventory

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4.5
• robot 23.4.5
• Windows Serevr 2025

 

Cause

Known issue with robot 23.4.6 and earlier

Resolution

This issue is currently being fix and under system testing. The tentative is to include the fix in the upcoming robot with 23.4 CU7 release.
