Robot 23.4.5 on windows 2025 detects windows 2012 on controller GUI/ log and OC inventory.

Issue/Introduction

When you install robot 23.4.5 on Windows Server 2025 the controller detects Windows server 2012 instead. 

This is visible in the controller GUI and OC inventory

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4 CU5 and CU6
• robot 23.4.5 and 23.4.6
• Windows Server 2025

 

Cause

Known issue with robot 23.4.6 and earlier

Resolution

The issue is being resolved in DX UIM 23.4 CU7. 

To resolve the issue upgrade the 23.4.5 or 23.4.6 robot to 23.4.7.
