Issue/Introduction

• Clarity 16.4.0 is in use
• Jaspersoft 9.0.0 Patch 2 has to be implemented
• There are multiple servers. Primary, secondary, schedular etc.
• Is it possible to run the install.bat / install.sh of the Patch 2 media on one server only (say the Primary server)? Then copy the folder structure across to other servers (such as Secondary, Schedular)?

Resolution

• Deploy Patch 2 individually on each server
• When the install.bat / install.sh is run on the Primary server, there is a prompt that you will encounter to choose which server you are running the executable on. Mention Primary Server there
• When the install.bat / install.sh is run on either the Secondary, or the Scheduler server, for the same prompt, choose Secondary Server
• By doing this the DB changes are made only when the executable runs on the Primary server. It is not touched in the other runs.
