VCF Operations for Networks

Issue/Introduction

This KB article clarifies whether VCF Operations for Networks supports applying licenses to specific clusters within a vCenter Server. It explains the licensing scope and limitations customers should be aware of when planning deployments that require cluster-level selectivity.

Environment

VCF Operations for Networks

Resolution

VCF Operations for Networks does not support applying licenses to individual clusters within a vCenter Server. Licensing is applied at the vCenter level and therefore includes all clusters managed by that vCenter. It is not possible to license only selected clusters.

Additionally, VCF Operations for Networks does not support collecting or pulling data for individual clusters. Data collection is performed at the overall vCenter Server level only.
