After upgrading UIM to CU6 unable to open CDM probe in admin console

Issue/Introduction

We are unable to open the cdm probe in admin console after upgrading, we get this error:

Unable to read configuration
Message: Internal server error: Adapter cdm failed generating representative model of inventory for /domain/hub/robot/cdm
Resolution: Please check the ppm.log file for additional details
Error Code: PPM-011

Environment

23.4 CU5 and above

Cause

cdm version was old in the 7.x line

Resolution

Upgrade cdm probe to 8.03 or newer.
