Deploying a new Edge cluster on SDDC results in error "Validate Routing Between Host Overlay (TEP) and Edge Overlay (TEP)"

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to deploy a new edge cluster  in SDDC on a brand new environment, may see a similar error:

Environment

VMware SDDC manager 

VMware NSX 

Cause

The host TEP is unable to reach the Edge TEP gateway on the network. This could be due to a misconfiguration or missing route on the physical network. 

Resolution

Engage your physical networking team to investigate the network configuration
