ERROR: "Failed to import {0} metadata in SDDC Manager" when deploying VCF

Issue/Introduction

Deploying VCF using the VCF installer, the following error happens on the "Configure Base Install Image Repo in SDDC Manager" Task:

Failed to import {0} metadata in SDDC Manager



Cause

A possible cause for this is due to re-using the VCF installer. In certain instances this is not a supported scenario.

Resolution

Deploy a fresh copy of the VCF Installer and start the installation again.
