Error: VNA Self-monitoring Inventory Poll Failed alarms: 404 FileNotFoundException with SilverPeak Unity Orchestator

Issue/Introduction

You receive self-monitoring alarms in DX Virtual Network Assurance (VNA) and 404 java․io․FileNotFoundException errors when polling Silver Peak Unity Orchestrator version 9․3 or higher․​​​​​‌​

ERROR MESSAGE: "VNA Self monitoring alarms: SilverPeak 404 - java.io.FileNotFoundException"

Cause

VNA only supports Silver Peak Unity Orchestrator versions 8.10, 8.6.1, 9.0.5, 9.1, and 9.2.

Starting with Orchestrator 9.3, the REST API shifted many IDs from Path Parameters to Query Parameters (e.g., /rest/tunnels2/bonded/ID to /rest/tunnels2/bonded?nePk=ID). These changes are not backward compatible with VNA.

Resolution

To support Silver Peak 9.3, 9.4, and 9.5, you must migrate from VNA to the UCF.

UCF is Generally Available (GA) in DX NetOps Release 25.4.3 and higher.
