Issue/Introduction

• Application discovered with VM tags showing duplicate VMs after the HCX migration of VMs to another vCenter (Duplicate VMs are color coded for context and concealed to enhance confidence):
  
  

 

 

 

 

Environment

• VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.1
• VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.0
• VCF Operations for Networks 6.13.0

Resolution

• Restart the launcher service of the Collector as follows:
• • Login/SSH to Proxy Collector:
  • Restart launcher service from the collector as follows:
    • sudo service launcher-service restart
  • Validate service status is running
    • ./check-service-health.sh

• After the restart, the duplicate VM was no longer reported for the source vCenter, and the application definition was corrected.
