Issue/Introduction

This article addresses whether customers are permitted to manually modify or delete data directly within the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) database schema.

Environment

All DLP versions. 

Resolution

Direct modification or deletion of data within the DLP database schema is not supported and strongly discouraged. Manual changes to the schema can lead to severe consequences, including System Instability and Data Corruption.
