Enforce Connector Service Stopped after Symantec DLP 25.1 Upgrade

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to Symantec DLP 25.1, the Enforce Connector service fails to remain in a "Running" state. This behavior occurs after a custom .sslkeystore file is implemented. Specifically, when the user manually copies the keystore file to the server and updates the EnforceConnectorSettings.properties file with the new path, the service encounters an error and stops immediately upon startup.

Cause

An invalid character in the configured keystore directory path caused the Enforce Connector service to terminate unexpectedly

Resolution

The issue was resolved by correcting the keystore path. An invalid character was found and removed from the directory string. Once corrected, the Enforce Connector service was restarted and returned to a "Running" state.
