When running the carr script on a clustered NSX Manager fails with “Invalid password”

Issue/Introduction

• NSX Manager that is clustered
• SSH login as root is disabled on some NSX Managers.
• When you run the carr script in NSX Manager, the following message appears:
  Enter '' site: ###.###.###.###'s root password (will not be displayed): 
  Invalid password for ###.###.###.###, please check password and try again

Environment

VMware NSX

Cause

Root SSH login is disabled in NSX Manager.
ssh access via admin and root users must be enabled on all NSX Managers.

Resolution

Please enable root SSH login on all NSX Manager instances.
