Issue/Introduction

During CICS start up the InterTest CICS program IN25PLT abended:
DFHSI1580D XXXXXXX PLT PROGRAM IN25PLT HAS ABENDED, CODE AEI0. REPLY GO OR CANCEL

Cause

AEI0 indicates that a program cannot be found i.e. either the program is not in the load library or the program definition entry is missing in CICS.

Resolution

The root cause is typically one of these:

• The required PTFs for the CICS version being used have not been installed. See the InterTest and SymDump for CICS Compatibility Matrix section for CICS Transaction Server.
   
• Incorrect CICS Resource Definition Online (RDO)s are being used. The CICS log may contain this type of message where nn is the 2 digit CICS level:
   DFHAM4892 W 28/01/2026 07:01:29 XXXXXXX INSTALL FOR GROUP INT110nn HAS COMPLETED WITH ERRORS.
 DFHAM4892 W 28/01/2026 07:01:29 XXXXXXX INSTALL FOR GROUP SYM110nn HAS COMPLETED WITH ERRORS.
  Check the group numbers INT110nn & SYM110nn are correct for the InterTest for CICS and SymDump for CICS programs running under the CICS version that is being used: InterTest™ and SymDump® 11.0 > Installing > Complete Configuration Tasks > Configure Products Manually > Interfaces and Compatibility > CICS Interfaces and Compatibility -  see Add the Required CICS Resource Definitions
  The correct RDO entries should be located in PDS HLQ.CAVHJCL(CSDINT*) & HLQ.CAVHJCL(CSDSYM*)
  
  
• The InterTest and SymDump load library name defined in the CICS (DFHRPL) CONCATENATION SYSTEM LOADLIBS contains the correct INnn* load modules. For example:
  CICS 5.6     nn = 73
CICS 6.1     nn = 74
CICS 6.2     nn = 75
CICS 6.3     nn = 76
