Issue/Introduction

The purpose of this KB is to outline the steps for validating interoperability between VMware ESXi 8.x versions and NetApp AFF-A250 storage arrays running firmware version ONTAP 9.18.1.

Environment

VMware ESXi 8.x

Resolution

1. Click on the below URL 
   
   Compatibility Guide VMware ESXi and NetApp AFF-A250
   
   
2. Ensure under 'Product Release Version', these versions are selected: ESXi 8.0 , ESXi 8.0 U1, ESXi 8.0 U2 and ESXi 8.0 U3
   
   
3. Verify that NetApp is chosen within the 'Partner Name' category.
   
   
4. Ensure under 'FirmwareVersion,' ONTAP 9.18.1 is selected. You can type ONTAP in its search box to view only the ONTAP firmware versions.
   
   
5. In the 'Keyword' box, type AFF-A250
   
   
6. Click on 'View Results'.
   
   
7. To find compatibility details for other NetApp models, simply modify the search filters accordingly.
