Error "Unexpected PROCEDURE" running AIS7SRVR in CA7 Data Provider

Issue/Introduction

The CA7 AAI Mainframe Data Provider (MDP) task fails with an REXX error during execution. This issue typically occurs after the task successfully recovers previous data or completes a normal event processing cycle, specifically when catching up to the current time. The system displays the following error messages in the task log:

ERROR MESSAGE: "1664 +++ PROCEDURE 785 +++ edttm = CALCENDDTTM(sdttm, ejul||etim, 30) IRX0017I Error running /<install dir>, line 1664: Unexpected PROCEDURE"

 

 

• Task fails after "WARM mode start" checkpoint

   

• Error IRX0017I in AIS7SRVR log

   

• Job ends with RC=3840

• AAI Mainframe Data Provider 24.2.1

Resolution

 

• DOWNLOAD THE FIX PACKAGE

  Log in to the Broadcom Support Portal and locate the solution for AAI.Mainframe 24.2.2

 

• INSTALL THE UPGRADE

Apply the AAI.Mainframe 24.2.2 upgrade to your z/OS environment following standard installation procedures for the Data Provider.

 

• RESTART THE TASK

Restart the CA7AAI task.

 

EXPECTED: The task initializes, catches up on historical data, and continues processing current events without the PROCEDURE error.
