Issue/Introduction

ESXi host experiences a PSOD during a storage rescan

Environment

VMware ESXi 8.0.2

Cause

Seen in the vmkernel.logs on the host that had the PSOD

Resolution

Contact the hardware vendor for possible disk replacement and hardware diagnostics testing on the controller for health
