Unable to add license to foundation on Tanzu Hub 10.3.3

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to apply a license key to a Tanzu Application Service (TAS) / EAR 6.0.21 foundation via Tanzu Hub 10.3.3, the process fails with the following error message:

VERSION_INCOMPATIBLE: TAS version is not compatible

Environment

Tanzu Hub 10.x
TAS/EAR 6.x

Cause

The "Apply License" automation workflow in Tanzu Hub is specifically designed to inject license keys into the EAR 10.2+ tile schema.

While TAS 6.0.x is compatible with Tanzu Hub, it does not possess the specific license key field required by the automation flow. For the license management workflow to be compatible, the foundation must meet or exceed the following versioning:

- Foundation Core 3.1.0 or higher

- Elastic Application Runtime (EAR) 10.2.0 or higher

Resolution

For foundations running version 6.0.x, the "Apply License" automation step is not required. License Tanzu Hub directly, which unlocks the global features.
