Issue/Introduction

Azure costs for channel customers may not reconcile with Azure invoices or the portal.

Resolution

One cause can be the 'Charge PAYG pricing' within each customer record configuration in CloudHealth:

When this option is enabled, channel costs will be represented using PAYG rates.

If this option is already enabled, and you wish for customer costs to reflect portal costs, you will need to disable this option. Disabling will affect current monthly costs only. Historic months will need to be reprocessed manually after this option is disabled. Please be aware that disabling this option will make changes to the customer's costs in their tenant, and if previous months are reprocessed, this will also change historic costs. It is strongly suggested to have a discussion with your CloudHealth TAM before making any changes.

If disabling this the 'Charge PAYG pricing' does not resolve Azure cost discrepancies, please contact support.
