Scheduler for PCF test-scheduler errand failed with "Invalid service plan" error

Issue/Introduction

Apply Changes failed on Scheduler for PCF test-scheduler errand.  The error from the Apply Changes log shows:

'cf create-service scheduler-for-pcf standard scheduler' (attempt 3 of 3)  
Creating service instance scheduler in org scheduler-smoke-test-xxx / space run-job as admin...  
Invalid service plan. Ensure that the service plan exists, is available, and you have access to it.  
FAILED  

 

 

Environment

VMware Tanzu Application Service

Cause

The "Publicize Service" setting was set to "Off".  This is set to "On" by default and is needed to be on for the errand to run successfully.

Resolution

In the Scheduler for PCF tile settings, go to Errands tab and set "Publicize Service" to "On", then Save the configuration.  Run Apply Changes afterwards.
