Commercial Tanzu cf cli distribution compatibility issues with OSS CF platform

Issue/Introduction

When trying to use any commercial version of the cf cli with an OSS CF environment, the following error message is received:

"This distribution of the cf CLI is only compatible with Tanzu Platform."

Cause

Commercial Tanzu cf CLI has a 'platform check', and will only connect to commercial Tanzu Platform Elastic Application Runtime Environments.

Resolution

Use the open source CLI with Open Source CF-Deployment environments: https://github.com/cloudfoundry/cli
