Issue/Introduction

After Clarity upgrade, an MUX custom report which previously returned data, does not return any data anymore.

If we recreate the same report without a view filter, it works. 

In DevTools we can see HTTP 400, Bad request.

Cause

Corrupt view filter

Resolution

This is due to a corrupt view filter.

To prove this you try clicking on any column to apply a sort. You will see the results start displaying.

Workaround: 

Recreate the corrupt view filter. Apply below steps on your affected reports:

  1. Open the existing report in Report Designer
  2. Click on any column to change the sort (you can change it back after)
  3. Make sure the Preview works
  4. Now return to the view and in Filter click Save as 
  5. Save the new Filter
  6. Delete the corrupt Filter
  7. Publish your report
