Issue/Introduction

In the VCF Operations UI, browsing to Fleet Management >> Passwords, only the option to Update Password or Remediate Password are present.

There is no option to Rotate Password.

Documentation explains that it is necessary to login to the SDDC Manager UI to rotate passwords: Rotate Passwords for VMware Cloud Foundation Components

However it is not possible to rotate passwords for:

• Fleet Management
• VCF Operations
• VCF Operations for logs
• VCF Operations for networks
• VIDB

Resolution

It is currently not possible to configure password rotation for the following VCF Management components:

• Fleet Management
• VCF Operations
• VCF Operations for logs
• VCF Operations for networks
• VIDB
