MCS Profiles not deploying to all targets for groups with huge number of members

Issue/Introduction

In MCS not all profiles are being deployed inside one group for groups where the members are more than 800. 

The following error may be seen on in the configuration_reader_service:

Sep 19 15:03:21:098 ERROR [attach_socket, com.ca.uim.probe.mcs.readerService.secondary.SecondaryConfigPusherThread] Error in checking probe availability status.null

Sep 19 15:03:21:098 ERROR [attach_socket, com.ca.uim.probe.mcs.readerService.secondary.SecondaryConfigPusherThread] java.lang.NullPointerException

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4 CU5 and earlier
• configuration_reader_service  23.4.5 and earlier.  

 

Cause

Defect in the probe for groups with 800+ members

Resolution

• This issue is resolved in DX UIM 23.4.6 (CRS 23.4.6 Resolves this issue) 
  
  
• To resolve the issue upgrade to at least DX UIM 23.4.6 (CU6)
  
  
• Alternatively deploy configuration_reader_service 23.4.6 to all hubs, including the primary hub.  
  NOTE: configuration_reader_service 23.4.6 can be deployed on any DX UIM 23.4.* version. 
  NOTE: configuration_reader_service 23.4.6 is delivered with the CU6 uimserverpackages.
