No email and pagerduty notifications when the alert fires

Issue/Introduction

Purposely set the conditions to fire, but none of the targets appear to be getting alert notifications. Events show emails and pagerduty targets were sent notification.

Cause

Alert Condition included unsupported query language (WQL/PromQL)

Resolution

• Review Alert Condition, break apart each section of the query and retest isolating the problematic section.
• Check documentation for each Function being used in the queries. 
  • Pay attention to any Series Matching being done within the query.
• Review the query for any unsupported WQL or PromQL structure.
