Issue/Introduction

How can we extract a snapshot of a couple of Harvest projects for testing purposes?

Environment

Harvest Software Change Manager all versions

Resolution

You can extract a snapshot of the project in its current state by simply checking out for browse the latest versions of all files in the repository.

If you want to preserve the current state of the project for reference later you can do this within Harvest by "taking a snapshot" of your project.

A snapshot view is a read-only image of a working view at a specific point in time. Snapshots let you capture a data inventory at significant points in the software's development, such as a release.

Additional Information

More information on checking out and on snapshots can be found in the documentation at these places.
