Compatibility check for vCenter and TCA

Issue/Introduction

• Trying to check if vCenter 8.0 Update 3x is compatible with TCA 3.3
• The Compatibility Matrix is not showing the patch version of vCenter

Environment

VMware vSphere 8.x

Cause

The compatibility is determined by the major update release version rather than specific minor patches or incremental enhancements.

Resolution

TCA 3.3 is part of TCP 5.0.1. If we check the Compatibility Matrix against the TCP stack it is showing compatible. Hence vCenter 8.0 Update 3x is compatible with TCA 3.3.
