  • Storage networking is impacted due to a mismatch of vmnics on the ESXi host in question's storage vSwitch

Cause

There is a known issue with how Cisco UCS will change the order of vmnics being presented to ESXi

Resolution

Reconfigure the storage vSwitch with the correct vmnics and their MAC addresses being shown in the Cisco UCS Manager UI:
