The Pages column on the View Primary Selection Panel is not displaying accurate page counts for dynamic reports.
Product: View
Version: 14.0
The number of lines and pages displayed for dynamic reports in the Report Selection List depends on how the EXPDYNLP parameter is configured in SARINIT.
The EXPDYNLP parameter controls whether View displays:
The total lines and pages for the entire report, or
Only the actual lines and pages that were distributed to a specific DISTID when using EXP mode.
Parameter Details:
Default: NO
Displays the total lines and pages for the entire report.
YES
Displays only the actual number of lines and pages distributed to the specific DISTID.
If EXPDYNLP is set to NO, the page counts may appear inaccurate for users expecting to see only their distributed portion of a dynamic report.
Set the SARINIT parameter:
After updating the parameter:
Run SARINIT.
Recycle the SARSTC task for the parameter change to take effect.
Once this is done, the Pages column displays the correct page counts for dynamic reports based on the data actually distributed to each DISTID.
