Datastore doesn't show up in Vertical Scale-Up Wizard

Issue/Introduction

  • While performing Vertical Scale-Up in VCF Operations for logs, the wizard doesn't show up all provisioned datastore.
  • Validating the same from vCenter server, the datastore is listed and accessible.
  • Successfully able to Read or Write files, confirmed by performing Storage vMotion.

Environment

VCF Operations 9.x

Resolution

To address the issue, Inventory sync of vCenter server needs to be manually performed. Login to VMware Cloud Foundation UI as admin and follow below mentioned steps.

  1. Click on drop down option of Fleet Management to expand.
  2. Select Lifecycle.
  3. Choose VCF management on the right side pane and select Settings
  4. Click on Deployment Targets
  5. Choose vCenter server and click on Refresh button to initiate Inventory Sync.
