Issue/Introduction

In the vSphere UI the following error is present in task:

Error: "Plug-in configuration with Reverse Proxy failed."

Cause

This is due to a multitude of issues such as:

  • SSL Trust Mismatches after machine SSL certificate replacement

  • Missing permissions on a role

  • Duplicate service registration
