Unable to receive critical alerts from Aria Operations 8.18.x using Webhook on an external system.
VMware Aria Operations 8.18.x
VMware Aria Operations sends alerts via the Webhook Notification Plugin in format (Day MM DD HH:MM:SS UTC YYYY). The external receiving system requires a date/time format displayed to the ISO 8601 standard (YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS.sssZ). This discrepancy causes the receiving system to reject the webhook payload, resulting in a failure to process critical alerts.
As per the current product design, the date and time format in VMware Aria Operations is not configurable and cannot be modified. This behavior is expected and aligns with the product’s design specifications.
If customization of the date and time format is required, we recommend submitting a Feature Enhancement Request for VMware Aria Operations so that it may be evaluated for inclusion in a future release.
Guidance on submitting a Feature Request is available at the following KB: Submitting new features or enhancement requests for Aria Operations
