Non-admin Users unable to edit or run NCM Policies after upgrade to 24.3.x

Issue/Introduction

After recent upgrade from 23.3.x to 24.3.x, any user other than Superuser can no longer edit or run NCM policies even though they have full access to to NCM privileges:
 

Environment

DX NetOps Spectrum 24.3.x

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in DX NetOps 25.4.5 and later

Symptom:

After upgrading to 24.3.10, non-superusers can no longer edit or run Network Configuration Manager (NCM) policies due to a NullPointerException. This issue occurs despite having full access to NCM privileges.

 

Solution:

With this fix, Spectrum implements code changes to avoid NullPointerException. This fix now allows operator users to edit or run the NCM policies without any issues.
