Is Security "Pass-Phrase" supported for access to Cleanup.

Issue/Introduction

Question:

We are planning a change in security from using passwords to using pass phrases.  Does CA Cleanup support that?  What fixes are needed, if any?

 

Answer:

CA Cleanup (all versions, RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret) do not involve any logon to the product to use.  CA Cleanup runs as an active Started Task that monitors the activity.  What is tracked, and reporting on the activity, is all done through batch processing.  No logons are needed, so what ever logon process is used with security, whether passwords and pass phrases, have no effect on CA Cleanup and nothing is needed or has to be changed.
