The Timezone in the User Preferences is not taken into account in the "Deadlines & Rules" tab

Issue/Introduction

With specific user, the Timezone in the User Preferences is not taken into account in the "Deadlines & Rules" tab when setting the SLA.

For example, in the User Preferences the Timezone is set to (UTC-4:00) Canada/Atlantic for the current user admin.

When setting the SLA for the jobstream-> Set by User, the timezone is not the one that was set in User Preferences, which is (UTC-4:00) Canada/Atlantic. Instead, it is set to (UTC-5:00) America.New York.

 

Environment

Product: Automation Analytics & Intelligence version 24.x .

Resolution

This is expected behaviour as both are separate. In Deadlines and Rules tab the timezone is given the default value of the targetjob timezone. The timezone can be chabed in this section.
