vCenter installation Stage 2: "Next" button is greyed out during SSO configuration

Issue/Introduction

• During the vCenter Stage 2 Install process, the buttons are greyed out.   

We will find following messages in /var/log/vmware/applmgmt/applmgmt.log

Environment

vCenter 8.x, 9.x

Cause

• The installer UI may not register pre-filled SSO domain information until the user manually interacts with or re-types the field.
• vCenter server DNS entry not defined.

Resolution

• Manually type the Single Sign-On domain name (e.g., vsphere.local) into the SSO domain name field to trigger the installer's validation logic.
• Define DNS records for the vCenter server prior to installation.
