ISPF176 DO has no matching ENDDO, SCMM@LIB record-111 dialog error

Issue/Introduction

Receiving the following when trying to submit a batch job in Endevor option 3:

                              ISPF Dialog Error                                

      * ISPF176                                                                                  *

      * )DO error                                                                               *

      * )DO has no matching )ENDDO, SCMM@LIB record-111      *

      *                                                                                               *

      * File tailoring input line:                                                         *

      * )ENDDO                                                                                *

 

 

Cause

 

 

Resolution

The error tells you the last line it read scanning for an ENDDO statement.  

For example, if I delete line 105 (Last line of the SCMM@LIB) you will get the following error:

     )DO has no matching )ENDDO, SCMM@LIB record-104.

We read thru record 104 and found no ENDDO.

To resolve the problem, add )ENDDO on line 105.

Based on the error that was received (SCMM@LIB record-111) you need to verify that line 112 contains an ENDDO statement.

Note: The last line in SCMM@LIB that is delivered with Endevor 18.1 and 19.0 is )ENDDO.
