Aria operations for logs agent installation failed in windows OS

Issue/Introduction

The agent MSI installation failed due to below error:

"The older version of VMware Aria Operations for logs Agent cannot be remove"

Environment

VMware Aria Operations for logs 8.18.x

Resolution

1.Perform below command in command line to output installation log:
msiexec -I <path to msi file>\<agent msi file> /l*v <path to installation.log>\installation.log

2.Search "RemoveExistingProducts" line in the installation log and record the id after "Product: "

3.Search the id in regedit and delete the folder which contain the product id entry in below path after backup the reg file:
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\<folder name>
