Issue/Introduction

This article provides information regarding the "Read Latency (ms)" and "Write Latency (ms)" metrics available in Aria Operations.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Resolution

Aria Operations collects these metrics from vCenter Server.
These values correspond to the totalReadLatency and totalWriteLatency counters displayed on the performance chart in vSphere Client.

To view these metrics, add the relevant counters via the Chart Options dialog in "Performance Chart > Advanced" on vSphere Client.
